Along the path of my life thus far, I’ve come through and across many things.. I’ve come to things only to leave them eventually, I’ve left things only to return to them shortly. My life is but a mist, a small tiny dot on the timeline of eternity. I am constantly amazed that Papi, the God above all, the Creator of everything loves me and takes the care to direct my life and the lives of those around me. Like the Greatest Author above all, He not only took the delicate care to create and nurture our environment, raising not only the bare minimum it would take for us to survive, but a delicate world in which we live and grow, and galaxies that surround us in no less sheer detail.
Not only this- but He cares for us enough to lead us through life. An author’s work does not end once world building is finished, nigh. That is but the beginning, the characters must interact throughout the story, developing, growing and some of them will die during the time frame of the story. That alone is difficult, but the story which our Author and Creator is, was and will continue to form is ongoing, spread over more time than I can measure, continuous. Not only that, but He takes great care to listen to those of us who call to Him, He guides those of us who follow and gently calls to those who don’t.
Above all else, I’ve found myself in complete awe of Him and everything He is.. Not just what He does, but that too.. I mean, truly.. Now that I follow Him.. He actually LEADS me.. I don’t always know where I’m going, but I know where to go, if that makes sense. Sometimes all I can do is whisper my thanks to Him (most times in Spanish) and grin like a child. It’s wonderful. Aye, this world is messed up pretty bad, there’s pain and suffering very near, there are dark times, but He is with us, what have we to fear?
He created us, He loved us, we messed up, He died for us and rose again, so that we could die to ourselves and live with Him…
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
1 Peter 5:6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Not only does He lead and direct me, but He cares for me and works out everything in my life according to His perfect will, there is nothing that could be better. I am eternally awestruck in wonder of my Papi. Gracias, Papi.. Muchas gracias..
