Aviation

The moon watches over the city lights, it’s not the same as I leave tonight.

A storm raged on, I missed your arms, I longed to hold you, feel your heart.

Time passes on, everything’s changing, life moves forward, no time for explaining.

Ask for a story, let your ears be open, listen to my heart as it beats unbroken.

Have you ever written on an airplane? Something about it just releases my mind, something about being alone, away from the noise, the destination being sealed, leaving where you were. I wasn’t going to do much of anything with this, but it seemed lonely. Sometimes my notes folder seems like a box of sleepy puppies, and this one jumped up in my face and licked me, it’s huge lonely eyes begged me to pull it out. So there you go.
