Over the events of this past summer, this has become a very special song to me, one I can’t seem to grow tired of and the smile never wears off my face while it’s playing. In a way it has come to be the song of this summer, especially for me. It’s been a strange summer that could easily be seen full of ups and downs, but along with that I’ve been learning and growing closer to Papi, and in that I must rejoice.
Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
I could easily upset myself by dwelling on the more frustrating and overwhelming things, but instead I choose to praise Him and see the joy, the beauty in every moment of life. To not only enjoy every moment, but to make the best of them, not for myself, but for all involved and to His glory. No longer is it easy to become upset, not with this joy.
Philippians 4:4-9 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.And the God of peace will be with you.
As my journey brings me to the islands long hidden in fog, the adventure has only begun. This summer has not ended yet, and when it does pass, there are the beauties and trials of this coming fall. Nay, everything does not seem right always, but I choose to smile and share my joy with others. Your adventure is only beginning.

I am so thankful for my wonderful and dear friends and family. It has indeed been a good time. The wait is worth it and my heart overflows with joy. It doesn’t matter what happens, I will rejoice for I am alive in Him and blessed beyond belief, I will not forsake this. Often, I find myself without words to describe how wonderful it all is….
