Carefree and Fearless

Sometimes we get to the point where our fears bog us down so much we become monsters of our own worries. We let everything get to us so much that life has become meaningless. Well, I’m here to tell you, it’s not your fault, completely. There’s something behind it all. You aren’t just making it up as you go along, there’s a force at work pushing you to where you shouldn’t be heading.

Psalm 37:12-15 Bad guys have it in for the good guys, obsessed with doing them in. But God isn’t losing any sleep; to Him they’re a joke with no punch line. Bullies brandish their swords, pull back on their bows with a flourish. They’re out to beat up on the harmless, or mug that nice man out walking his dog. A banana peel lands them flat on their faces— slapstick figures in a moral circus.

If that doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what does.

Proverbs 1:29-33 “Because you hated Knowledge and had nothing to do with the Fear-of-God,Because you wouldn’t take my advice and brushed aside all my offers to train you, Well, you’ve made your bed—now lie in it; you wanted your own way—now, how do you like it? Don’t you see what happens, you simpletons, you idiots? Carelessness kills; complacency is murder. First pay attention to me, and then relax. Now you can take it easy—you’re in good hands.”

I’m not even going to try emphasizing this point, but let it soak into you through and through. I let things get to me for a point in time, but I gave them all to Him, no I can’t be careless, but I can be carefree and fearless. Thanks to Him, I’m as carefree as Jack Sparrow ^_^ Laugh a little

Live long and prosper, Tori Lynn.
