Today we experienced the wonder of snow, little crystal water particles floating down from the sky and sticking to the ground. I find it amazing how every time the weatherman tells us all we’re getting is “flurries” we end up with at least two inches settled in the dear cold ground, a soft blanket to cover the wet grass below….
I noticed, the weathermen tend to be like the common influences in our lives. Telling us, “Don’t expect more than a flurry, cuz that’s all you’re getting” speaking of God’s blessing on our lives. So we go out, into our lives wearing a T-shirt and jeans, and what happens? We get frozen solid by the little crystals!
Sometimes we expect so little of God’s blessing that we go out into the world without means to handle it when it comes. Don’t go out into the snow storm in short sleeves. Vick and I were caught off guard, yes, wearing short sleeves, and I saw something white. “Is that? naahhh” So we keep on trying to get a decent picture of Colin and I see another one. Finally we came to the realization that it was snowing! Remember, even when you’re in the snow in short sleeves, it’s not too late to run in and grab a jacket. ^_^
Live long and prosper, Tori Lynn.
