Last night I was able to borrow some DVD’s from my amazing friend Kale, including the Spiderman movies ^_^ Oh how I love those movies. Anyways, So as I placed the DVD into our shiny old DVD player, almost instantly it started skipping.
Greeeeeeeeat… Now what
So after many tries, I realized it was to no avail, the poor DVD was just too scratched to play. Retiring it to the shiny pink case Kale is letting me borrow, I pulled out the 2nd Spiderman. Before too terribly long we were watching Spiderman 2, I remembered how much I love that movie. Before too long into it, I was amazed. It’s probably my second favorite movie that I’ve seen so far. I admit I even teared up at a couple parts. I must say, I can relate to Peter Parker on some points (But don’t tell anyone 😉 shhhh) If you get to the point where you have a gift, and you don’t like the cost of it anymore, it WILL start fading. If you hate it secretly it will betray you. But when you’re ready to have it back, you might jump over that building and fall a couple stories. But when the time comes, it will come back to you and you’l be ready to fight. Like Spidey ^_^
So when you start losing your “power” don’t give up hope, sure you’l probably get discouraged and even depressed. But don’t give in all the way, you’ve got the rest of your life ahead of you, and without Spidey, the world becomes a messy place. Probably gonna watch the third pretty soon. There’s a lesson in everything, it just takes a keen eye to see it. When you’re on the end of the train, holding on by a few threads, remember, even Spiderman needed the help of a few nice people on the train.
Live long and prosper, Tori Lynn.
