Mind your Silvertongue

What would you do if you knew you could change the very things around you just by using the very words of your mouth? You have a tongue that weaves words together like Mo’s in Inkheart, the power of life and death lie in your tongue and it’s not just a metaphor. Choose your words carefully. They make a difference, slang can be useful in text, and even if speech if you know what you’re doing. But if you that the very words gushing out of your mouth could ruin one’s life would you so carelessly spew your meaningless words everywhere? Would you continue to hold back your life-giving flow? Every word needs to be treated as it is, in your tongue you hold the power of life and death. We were made in the image of God and He created the very earth we live on with words alone. So don’t be so overly cautious that you hold back your sweet words, but mind every word you say, let it flow from your mouth in unison as a stream of life giving words. You cannot be silent your entire life, you must indeed speak, so let every word that comes out of your mouth life-giving. It’s not an easy task by far, but with help from Him, it’s possible. Words can be a beautiful thing if you know how to use them right, let the master of words Himself teach you.

Words kill, words give life;
they’re either poison or fruit—you choose. -Proverbs 18 :21

Live long and prosper, Tori Lynn.
