Bad connection

Have you ever felt like God can’t hear you? We all feel like that every now and then. But He’s always there for us. Sometimes it’s not that He can’t hear you, you just can’t hear Him. It’s like when your phone keeps dropping a call, it’s not that you’re not trying to talk to the person on the other side, it’s not that they are ignoring you, there’s something between you, something you can’t see blocking your call. It could be bad signal, it could be that the lines are being worked on, it could be something blocking the tower…

When you’re loosing contact with God, you lose meaning with life, everything goes into a blur, and i’m speaking from experience. You start acting like someone else, and you say/do things you normally wouldn’t. The most important thing is that you never lose sight of God and never lose sight of your goals and plans ahead of you.

Never surrender ~Skillet

“Do you know what it’s like when
You’re scared to see yourself?
Do you know what it’s like when
You wish you were someone else
Who didn’t need your help to get by?

Do you know what it’s like
To wanna surrender?

I don’t wanna feel like this tomorrow
I don’t wanna live like this today
Make me feel better, I wanna feel better
Stay with me here now and never surrender
Never surrender

Do you know what it’s like when
You’re not who you wanna be?
Do you know what it’s like to
Be your own worst enemy
Who sees the things in me I can’t hide?

Do you know what it’s like
To wanna surrender?

I don’t wanna feel like this tomorrow
I don’t wanna live like this today
Make me feel better, I wanna feel better
Stay with me here now and never surrender

Make me feel better, you make me feel better
You make me feel better, put me back together”

You know how to regain contact with Him? worship.

Psalm 30

1 I give you all the credit, God— you got me out of that mess,
you didn’t let my foes gloat.

2-3 God, my God, I yelled for help
      and you put me together.
God, you pulled me out of the grave,
gave me another chance at life
      when I was down-and-out.

4-5 All you saints! Sing your hearts out to God!
      Thank him to his face!
He gets angry once in a while, but across
a lifetime there is only love.
The nights of crying your eyes out
give way to days of laughter.

6-7 When things were going great
I crowed, “I’ve got it made.
   I’m God’s favorite.
He made me king of the mountain.”
Then you looked the other way
      and I fell to pieces.

 8-10 I called out to you, God;
I laid my case before you:
“Can you sell me for a profit when I’m dead?
auction me off at a cemetery yard sale?
When I’m ‘dust to dust’ my songs
and stories of you won’t sell.
   So listen! and be kind!
      Help me out of this!”

11-12 You did it: you changed wild lament
      into whirling dance;
You ripped off my black mourning band
      and decked me with wildflowers.
   I’m about to burst with song;
I can’t keep quiet about you.
   God, my God,
      I can’t thank you enough.

Hope this helps… These words are not my own, but they come from Him directed to you. You needed this I don’t know whats going on in your life, I don’t even know exactly who this is for other than it’s for you. If you know anyone who is struggling with this please direct them here. You could play a part in saving them again. You could save a life. “People are dying to be heard” ~To save a life

Live long and prosper, Tori.
