So I’m reading this book, “the last days”, it’s one of those end-times series. Where I am right now a war is happening between the Palestinians and Israel, well I’m not gonna give away the book but, before the war started, nobody believed it would happen. Saddam Hussein launched a full-blown attack of suicide bombers missiles and everything. Then a Palestinian suicide bomber killed-, oh wait I don’t wanna give that away to you guys! haha I’d suggest reading this series, true awesomeness, but Jon Bennett (My absolutely favorite character who has narrowly escaped death at least 4 times by now) was reminded of what was told to him. “The problem with you Americans is that you don’t believe in evil.” Well that was suddenly making sense to him and everyone else involved in this “peace” deal. Nobody was expecting this, because they didn’t believe in true evil, that people needed no other motivation.
Now you might be thinking “Okay Tori, have you gone crazy? What does this have to do with me?” Well hang on, you’ll get it! It has a high-quality life application if you’ll just keep reading.
Jon Bennett experienced a complete life change in just seconds, that could happen to anyone. You don’t know whats around the corner for you so you need to be prepared. If you’re ready, you won’t be shocked, if you’re not shocked then you can handle it. Don’t let the enemy catch you off guard! No I’m not saying that any of the things in this book are going to happen to you. Most likely they won’t, but don’t have a false sense that nothing can happen, stay alert! Don’t let your guard down! You can probably relate to having attacks from the enemy constantly. So think about this, there are people out there that don’t have the protection of God because they haven’t committed their life to Him.
So a while back the movie “To Save A Life” came out in theaters. Best movie ever! I strongly suggest seeing it. It’s a Christian movie about this guy “Jake Taylor” who, well I’m not gonna give that away either, but he made some choices that negativity effected his life and then someone who used to be his friend committed suicide in their school. He met this youth pastor who helped him start to turn his life around, but some things can’t be undone. He asked himself “What do I want my life to be about?” Remember, you might know Jesus Christ as your savior, but do the ones you love? Don’t hide His love from your friends, remember, the little things you do/say could help save a life, or lose one.
What are you gonna do about it? It’s up to you to help them. What Now?
Live long and prosper, Tori.
