So Iv’e told you how Xtreme winter changed my life, but you haven’t heard what happened. Well I didn’t take any notes from one of my favorite speakers (Matt Pitt) because his message was more testimonial but, I got some from Urgun Caner (my other favorite speaker) and some from Tony Nolan, so here ya go!
Tony Nolan 12/31/09 ~Xtreme Winter
Romans 3:23-24 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
So what if you had a penny, and someone said here you give me your penny and I’ll give you $50, would you keep the penny because you didn’t want to let go of what you had? Don’t cling to your penny and lose th $50! ~ Don’t keep your sin and miss out on eternal life! Don’t miss out.
Mark 8:36 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?
What could you ever possibly trade your soul for??? Imagine owning everything, everything int the whole world, it could NEVER be worth losing your soul. Don’t be a fool! Stop doing what man told you to do and start doing what God told you to do. John 3:16 don’t lose your soul, Jesus died to save it for you.
2Corinthians 4:4 he god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Romans 10:2 &9 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Matthew 10:32-33 “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.”
Matthew 16:26 What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
Johnny Hunt 1/1/10 Counterfeit Faith ~Xtreme Winter (not winter Xtreme hahahaha)
James 2:14-16 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?
James 1:16, 22, 26 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers. 22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 26If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.
Here is a deep, deep question for you to consider: “If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to prove it?” Cultural Christianity is different from biblical Christianity.
What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
18But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
19You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
20You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless[a]? 21Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,”[b] and he was called God’s friend. 24You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. 25In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
Are you a professor or a possesser?
Who do you love? Who loves you? Will you see them again?
Jesus isn’t a way of life, He is your life.

I didn’t take notes during his session because it was mainly testimonial, but I’m pretty sure his testimony is on his website that I put up there ^

2 Corinthians 4:1-10
Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a]made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
7But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;9persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
Don’t hide the light of God! The most effective light works in darkness… Love those who hate you back. Don’t be afraid or surprised when you’re attacked. Satan wants to cover your light.
5 weapons Satan can use
If you can see it coming, it doesn’t shock you, if it doesn’t shock you, then you can handle it.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1. Try to isolate you, make you feel alone.
Do you have somebody who has your back? Sometimes isolation is just a perception……
2. Try to make you hesitate.
Don’t stop, don’t be silent!
2 Timothy 2:2 John 3:16
Christ died for me and He wants you too!
Evolution is racist.
3. Try to negotiate
If Jesus is lord, nobody else is, don’t dilute the message.
4. Get you to validate them.
They want you to agree with them. “You have a right to believe what you want, but I don’t have to agree with you.”
The only thing that can stop you, is you. What does it take to stop you? We are unstoppable if we will stand up and won’t shut up. http://www.erguncaner.com
Thanks for reading my notes, you guys are awesomeness 🙂 (or just creepy… O.o haha jk)
Live long and prosper, Tori.
